Privacy policy
Last updated November 4, 2026
This policy explains what UpClicks LLC collects when you use PayoutPress, why, who else processes it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We collect what the service needs to work and nothing for advertising.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, email address, password (stored only as a one-way hash), and timezone.
- Billing: your plan and subscription status, and the customer reference Stripe gives us. Card details go to Stripe directly; we never receive them.
- What you put in: your projects and their settings, product names, the product page addresses and affiliate links you paste, your notes, keywords, and instructions, and the articles produced from them, with their earlier versions.
- Connected sites: for WordPress publishing, your site's address, the username, and an application password, which is stored encrypted.
- Usage records: your word balance and every movement in it, and a record of each AI request made for you (which provider and model, its size, cost, and outcome, not its text), which we use for billing, support, and keeping costs in check.
- Contact messages: what you send through the contact form, and the address to reply to.
Cookies
We use two cookies, both needed for the site to work: one keeps you signed in (for up to 14 days), and one carries a one-time message from one page to the next. There are no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts and page scripts from the jsDelivr network, which see your IP address as part of delivering them.
How we use it
To run your account and subscription, write and store your articles, send them to your WordPress site when you ask, answer your messages, and keep the service secure. We send email only for password resets, important changes to these policies or your billing, and replies to you. We do not sell your information or share it for advertising.
Who processes it
- Stripe, for payments and billing emails.
- Anthropic and OpenAI, the AI providers that write the drafts. They receive what an article needs: your inputs, the text of the product pages you gave, and your project's settings. When you turn on web research for an informational article, the provider runs the searches.
- Our email provider, for password reset and contact messages.
- Our hosting provider, where the service and its database run.
When you paste a product page address, our servers fetch that page to read it. We fetch only the addresses you give us.
How long we keep it
We keep your account, projects, and articles for as long as your account exists, including after a subscription ends, so you can come back to them. Copies of fetched product pages are kept for up to 30 days. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your profile, projects, articles, and connected-site details, and keep only the billing and usage records we need for accounting and tax.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete your account, by emailing [email protected]. You can also export any article yourself at any time. We answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law; we honor them.
Security
Passwords are hashed, connected-site passwords are encrypted, and the site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we will tell you promptly.
Children
PayoutPress is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will email you before the change takes effect and update the date above.
